The Nordic Business groups are the basis of Nestlé Nordic. These include Beverages, Nutrition, Ice Cream, Confectionery, Culinary, Vending and Export. Other business areas are Breakfast Cereals, Zoégas Coffee and Jede (Vending Machines) in Sweden.
The Nestlé companies in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden operate as a corporate unit, Nestlé Nordic. We focus our resources on markets or segments in which we can offer customers and consumers the best choices. The Nordic organisation enables us to co-ordinate our work in the region and utilise our resources more efficiently. Nestlé Nordic has about 1,500 employees and six production facilities.
The Nordic organisation has central production, service and specialist functions which lend support across national and business-area boundaries. The Nordic head office is in Copenhagen, in the same building as the offices of Néstlé Denmark.
Despite the Nordic co-operation, we still have to consider the fact that the four countries have different languages and culture but also have legal and political differences.
Therefore each market operates as its own with a focus on customer relations, sales and operations in each country.
